Commissioners Tom Arnone, Nick DiRocco, Ross Licitra, Sheriff Shaun Golden, Prosecutor Raymond Santiago, Assemblywomen Kim Eulner and Marilyn Piperno, Shrewsbury Mayor Erik Anderson, Steve Dnistrian and many others joined the Tigger House Foundation’s Overdose Awareness Day event.
This event aimed to raise awareness of overdoses and reduce the stigma of a drug-related death. It also acknowledged the grief felt by families and friends remembering those who have died or had a permanent injury as a result of drug overdose.
"I am proud to say that Monmouth County is and will remain Stigma Free," said Commissioner Director Tom Arnone. Please join us in our efforts to raise awareness and spread the message that the tragedy of overdose death is preventable.
