August was a busy month around the county, and we were well-traveled! We kicked off the month with National Night Out and then held a Day of Action for our LD-11 candidates. We made our way to the Italian American Festival in Ocean Township and enjoyed delicious food on cool summer nights with family and friends. The K.E.Y.S Academy Recovery High School held an open house at Brookdale Community College and we celebrated Count Basie's 119th Birthday right after we celebrated the birthday of our Chairman!
Other incredible events were the 4th Annual Allenhurst Beach Illumination in Allenhurst and the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency’s National Elections Tabletop Exercise held by the Monmouth County Sheriff and Monmouth County Clerk's Office.
We also celebrated the Monmouth County National Lifeguard Team who won the National Championship title at the United States Lifesaving Association’s 2023 National Lifeguard Competitions and had a tremendous turnout at the Mobile County Connection at Seabrook Erickson Senior Living in Tinton Falls.
As new opportunities began and community service was celebrated, August was a reminder that Monmouth County remains the best place to live, work, and raise a family, thanks to the spirit of servant-leadership which is the cornerstone of the Monmouth County Republican Committee.
