Chairman Shaun Golden
Shaun Golden was elected Chairman of the Monmouth County Republican Committee Chairman at the Party’s June 10th, 2014 re-organization convention. Shaun ran on a platform of making the Party more diverse, returning to tried and true grassroots methods, such as door to door campaigning, and utilizing social media as part of a greater strategy to reach young voters.
Shaun Golden, an experienced law enforcement and public administration enforcement leader, is the Monmouth County Sheriff. Before becoming Sheriff he was a law enforcement officer for 18 years, serving as a police officer with the Colts Neck Police Department, and then with the Toms River Police Department. He holds a Masters Degree in Administration from Seton Hall University and is a NJ Certified Public Manager and an adjunct professor at Monmouth University with the Department of Political Science and Public Policy. Shaun Golden lives in Farmingdale with his wife Catherine, and their two children.
